I don't know if we have a LOT of Disturbed-heads here, but I know there are a fair number of members that like Disturbed, so I'll share the news I've just heard:

Disturbed are releasing a new album called 'Asylum' on August 31! They have put up official videos on YouTube and I already own a legit copy of the track. Check out their newest track, 'Another Way To Die' for a taste of Asylum.

And on the same note, I came across this Disturbed track the other day which I had never heard before: Living After Midnight, which is a cover of the original track sang by Judas Priest.

YES! Sounds like they are heading a bit backwards in their style, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Though I wish the track had more melody in it...

Disturbed - Asylum:

I have to say, I'm disappointed. It doesn't sound anything like I was expecting it to and considering that this is supposed to be the headliner of the album, it's just not as great as it should be. I love it non-the-less simply because it's Disturbed, there isn't a song by this band in Existence that I don't own and love.

There are some nice sounds in this song, but I don't think that as a whole it comes close to Stricken or Down with the Sickness... It lacks that energy, I guess.

Right, we'll see what the rest of the songs sound like.

I was going to say something mean, but I opted not to.

I changed my mind again - put down Disturbed and find something worth listening to.

Lol, it is worth listening to. Especially some of their great classics.

I've listened to their "great classics." Highly unimpressed. They have one good song and that's "Land of Confusion," which they didn't even write. It's a Genesis cover! Sad their best song is a cover.

So. As I said, put it down and listen to something worth listening to.

This is as pointless as arguing what food tastes good and what doesn't.

Haha, who said I'm mad?
It's not like Disturbed is the sole band I listen to, anyway Wink But they still own #Cussing out

Crimsonum is right. There is no sense arguing about a topic like this, simply because it's all a matter of taste. At the end of the day, if you don't like the band, don't post. Simple.

I love you Fenny-baby. <3

Well, I have to say, I'm disappointed. It's better than I thought it would be after hearing the Asylum track, but it's still no-where near as good as Ten Thousand Fists or even Indestructible for that matter. I'd personally rate it a 5/10. The only tracks I like from the new album are:

Asylum
The Infection
Never Again
Another Way To Die
Leave It Alone
Living After Midnight (Cover)
Down With The Sickness [Live]
Stricken [Live]

The rest are OK, but all over the place. No real song structure to them and they sound similar to some of their previous tracks. The only reason I like the Down With The Sickness and Stricken Live versions is because they were cut out of the Ten Thousand Fists Bonus DVD which I already own.

Overall, It's worth buying, but don't get your hopes up.

Asylum (Deluxe Edition) Full Track List:

1. Remnants
2. Asylum
3. The Infection
4. Warrior
5. Another Way to Die
6. Never Again
7. The Animal
8. Crucified
9. Serpentine
10. My Child
11. Sacrifice
12. Innocence
13. I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For (U2 Cover)
14. Leave It Alone
15. Down with the Sickness (Live)
16. Stricken (Live)
17. Living After Midnight (Judas Priest Cover)

Since I have every Disturbed song in existence on my computer, I can't bring myself to dislike any track they make, so I'd say give it a month and I'll grow to like the rest of the tracks.
