Greetings.

I've been having this problem where a lot of active anims (at least I think those are the ones) on various buildings have simply stopped working while others keep running. I have done some private, basic, modding such as adding units, changing voxels and shps etc. It mostly included simple rules.ini and art.ini modding. What bothers me is that I haven't touched the anims that arent working. Neither in art.ini nor in rules.ini.

Examples of the ones that aren't working are the conyard spinning fan-thingys, the blinking lights of the GDI and the Nod powerplants (yet the gdi addon turbine-spinning-animation is still working) as well as numerous others.

Examples of anims that are still working are the blinking lights on the top of the refinery, the blue sphere-light anim of the firestorm generator and the gdi barracks anim with the waving flag.

I have had this problem before on a different PC when i played TS a couple of years ago. Same problem, more or less same anims not working. The same things applied in that case: I had done some basic modding but nothing that included the anims themselves.

I went and looked for solutions and I found LKO's thread about animation bugs on tiberiumweb but that thread didn't mention many of the anim-problems i have.

If anyone can help with this, to make it work or to give insight on what could have caused this, I'd be real happy.

Some anims are powered like lights, other like the GDI barracks flag isn't. The coding for them is in the Art.ini

They also need be listed in the Animation List [Animations] in the Rules.ini

-Facepalm- Ok, thanks for this. No wonder it didn't show up...

I was so busy frantically looking around art.ini to see what I possibly could have screwed up that i completely overlooked the fact that TS has graphical settings..
I'm sure it must have resetted when I replaced sun.ini and therefore make it appear as if it was my modding that killed it.
