Photos I've Made In Gimp.
Subject description: Im pretty Literate with Gimp, And this is just some of the stuff i've made
As you can see, I do a lot of space effects. I'm more of the person for the art, The text with me, i know how to do, but I just choose not to QUICK_EDIT

I made the original picture in a 3500x3500px. It took me atleast 40 minutes to render the heart, everything else just kinda took time. but.. All in all.. I think it turned out okay, and to hear someone else say it, along with her and her friends, just makes my day xD QUICK_EDIT
Everything looks so blurry and the shadows are off. The light source are coming from the upper right and yet the light seems to be coming from the top, based on the planets. QUICK_EDIT
Where'd you find the textures for the planets?
Oh, and I still have a hard time doing that.....plasma mist thing or whatever, how'd you do it? I can tell that you mirror'd some parts of it, but none the less, how? D: _________________ Please, I DON'T read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT
@AltomareXD, Suppose to look blurry, i could do a none blurry? and which image your saying the light sources is wrong? Because I do a MotionBlur>Zoom, on the "Light source" so, The light's shadows you see are coming from the light source. Soo??
@Inzane Krazy, the planets YOU see are ones i cut out of some other pictures, however theres a way to make your own planets, which im doing now. The textures could be anything. get at least four Very High-Res Textures of maybe like, Mossy Rock, or Ya know, something similiar. The mist is a combo of several things, An Image, that was rotated/Soft Edged Erased, Plus some Blobs of white that were motion blurred, stretched, and layer'd with Drop shadows based on their Alpha's.
If enough people are interested, I'll post a Tutorial on how to do this. QUICK_EDIT

Yea, in the second one, I took some low res planets, cutted them out of a picture then posted them, WHen i made that photo, i didn't have the tools to make my own planets. Ohwell, The second image was the first i did of that effect, The First Image is the 3 I did of that effect QUICK_EDIT
