I've been using this 'badass' land tremor voxel from SaneDisruption to test the VXLSE III's 3D modelizer for a while. Its quality is so good and it is so detailed that it impressed all my teachers in the university . QUICK_EDIT
One voxel is a leftover from Derelict Soil, The MCV. Since Derelict Soil nor any other mod will be using them, they were donated to me instead. QUICK_EDIT
I like the Sanedisruption Retex'd stuff. Scheme suits it pretty well. _________________ Albrecht never dies, he just goes to the nearest bar to regroup. QUICK_EDIT
Aro, you mentioned something about infantry, I'm assuming you already have some that were ready the first and second time you announced this mod? Any chance we can see them soon? _________________ Okay, my signature was starting to annoy even me. QUICK_EDIT
You know, I'm actually liking the temperate terrain again. Even with the difficult to see slopes. Need to fix that square spot in the thick grass though. _________________ "It's got that Droke style to it!" QUICK_EDIT

Epic bump is epic, but
If you need a 3d model maker, it would be great to go outside the nod/gdi scene for a bit. I'm more than willing to help. =] _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT
I have a problem with that terrain. Make it seem smaller or something. You shouldn't be able to see that much detail of grass/rocks from that high up. It looks wired....well or something is freaking my eyes out. QUICK_EDIT
Mars has two tiny natural moons, Phobos and Deimos, which orbit very close to the planet. Asteroid capture was a long-favored theory but their origin remains uncertain.[111]
Both satellites were discovered in 1877 by Asaph Hall, and are named after the characters Phobos (panic/fear) and Deimos (terror/dread) who, in Greek mythology, accompanied their father Ares, god of war, into battle. Ares was known as Mars to the Romans
On other designs, I would like to see soldiers of one faction to be decorated by skulls, a morbid feel with skulls on a necklace or belt or something. Last edited by Pepzi on Wed Jan 26, 2011 2:09 pm; edited 2 times in total QUICK_EDIT
Don't know if skulls would really suit the feel of this universe I'm getting.
Since youve got a sci-fi Human style faction with industrial designs etc I'd go with a mixture of Dark Eldar sort of stuff and Harkonnen for the 'evil' guys. I think they could still suit your current industrial faction.
I genuinely felt really sad whilst reading through this topic again as I have some bad news regarding this Evolution work.
A week or so ago, my external hard-drive blew out which caused me to lose every single thing I had on there, including Twisted Insurrection work (which thankfully wasn't a major set-back), all of my music, programs, files and what upsets me the most, all of this work produced for Evolution.
As far as I know, nobody else has any of the files on their comptuers, excluding maybe the old Desolation/Derelict Soil voxels that SaneDisruption had donated to me but the terrain is long gone, including all of the textures which means it will be impossible to re-create, however it can always be done from scratch and from several past experiences, I've found that Droke's and my own work gets better every time (see Evo attempts 1 and 2 for a prime example). Thankfully I still have the great logo that Hyper made as it was uploaded here, but only at that size, no higher resolutions.
This does not mean however that Evolution is dead, not at all. I have wanted to get this mod off the ground for several years and one of these days that will happen.
If the guys whom have helped me with this in the past (Apollo, Crimsonum, Droke, Hyper, Orac) are still on board, then one day we'll start again and be back much stronger than before. QUICK_EDIT

GODDAMMIT I'M TRYING TO HELP!
Also, I feel out of the loop in Modding again. Anything I can do to help with Evo? _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT
I shall let you know in due time. I posted here because people have been asking me what is happening with Evo at the moment, just wish it was good news.
TI is my primary focus and always will be, so I'll be getting what needs to be done there out of the way before serious devotion. QUICK_EDIT
I might have the stuff you sent me (not in TMP form IIRC) through MSN on my PC, but I won't be able to access it until tomorrow. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
I usually find going back to starting something from scratch can be quite refreshing and you've always gained more experience in the meantime, whilst it's sad you've lost some good assets you'll probably remake them again and it'll be x2 better .
I know I'm late, but it's sad when assets are lost, especially on such a scale. Condolences, and I hope that you'll be able to rebuild it, faster, stronger, better than before.
I'd totally be up for some Evolutionary goodness.
But I'd want to be attached as a lazy hobo instead of a voxeler.
I guess it's safe to say that the restart did allow us to rethink the mod, and the story setting has once again...evolved... _________________ QUICK_EDIT
