How to make anti air missiles better?

In TS, whenever missiles are used against air, they explode before reaching the target about 70% of the time. I've tried adding Ranged=no and Proximity=no to all the missiles, but nothing really changes. Is it possible at all to make missiles always reach their target?

Afaik no.

I assume TS calculates wrong the distance to the aircraft:
It seems to use the cell on the ground instead of the position in midair for the initial calculation of the targets position (and here also sets the max flying range of the missile with this value), while using the correct startingpoint to midair position when calculating the distance.

Since the midair position of an aircraft is min 1-2 cells farther away than the corresponding cellposition on ground, do missiles only hit aircraft which fly towards the SAM or when flying in the south of the SAM as there the aircraft is visually above the cell on the ground, thus having enough range to hit the aircraft.

You can try

- removing Arm from your projectile (Arm=2, etc seems to still have a effect of delaying missile before launch)

- increasing acceleration by a lot so missile reaches target quicker

Forgot to say, I've tried removing arm and it doesn't work either.
I guess there is no way, oh well.

Increase speed and range of the weapon and give it TurboBoost=yes. The samsite and hover MLRS missiles hit their targets pretty often. Think ROT on the projectile makes them better at catching targets. But yeah, can't make them hit 100%.
