It's a very safe guess you're just going to ban him for that, too, given that there doesn't seem to be any good reason for you banning him any other time.

There was also the matter with DCoder... initially I wasn't going to drag him into this but seriously, if you were going to ban him you might as well have banned who he habitually bashed, but you didn't and that's the worst hypocrisy yet.

That's not how you solve the problem, and I know damn well that you didn't want him tarnishing the site's image, so why didn't you ban the troublemakers instead of banning a respected member who has played a HUGE part in Ares' creation?

Not only did you spell it wrong - an account you suspended twice, banned once and probably deleted quite a few posts from - but now I'm me again, and being known as me is boring... The only place you can be anonymous is 4chan and everyone there is retarded so I figured maybe I'd try letting my past take a nap for a while, being me but not saying I'm me... TBH there's no point now as all of a sudden nigh on 2 years of history has been reattached to me for anyone who has read this thread and I don't want those years right now.

I've seen many people being bashed because they didn't know how to write in english properly and they were not even given a chance to improve before being bashed to hell.

Members who are really respected here for their attitudes are not banned at all because they do respect and follow the forum rules.

I am used to it but come on getting banned like once every couple of months. I think we all should read our own post and see how bad we are and/or where. I looked at my old post and have changed to be more mature online. Calling people animal f***er's is wrong. I used to do it to all the kids that go to school with me but I smartened up. I believe we all can.

Uh... all right, so why did you ban no fewer than FIVE MORE of his accounts? I've NEVER seen him overreact to anything, in fact banning that many times is YOU overreacting; you could have instead just talked to him as to WHY he was acting that way and taken care of anyone that was provoking him.

First of all, I've splitted this topic because of some trolling attitude from Arvin and its consequences. He's certainly one of the (many) people who were unhappy with Fen's attitude and this kind of thing distinguish Fen from those who are really respected members like LKO, Morpher, Blade, Muldrake and others who contributes to this community without bashing people.

That does not give Arvin any rights to insult Fen here. Use PMs instead, otherwise I'll have to be a bit more harsh at you... as well as Albretch (if I misspell your nickname it, it is done propositally ) and Fen, regardless of being provoked or not.

I know you don't flame everyone, otherwise this account you are using wouldn't have more than 100 posts, I assure you. But the simple act of flaming them after chances are given is wrong and that makes of you a troll.

When you flame someone that you rate as 'a lost case of n00biness' or whatever, you are trolling and inciting other potential trolls, provoking flames in the subject.

Yes, I know. I'm a human, not a God. That's why things are inconsistent at some point, even if I don't want it to be. And I hate baby sitting, which means that I don't wanna warn everyone every time.. and treating each person until they are able to behave normally in the forum. And I don't expect other people to do this kind of task, honestly. This is a modding forum and not an education school...

Judge by the number of PMs and complaints that I see outside PPM forums, it affects the environment considerably. Not just you, but the people influenced by you and others who behave like you. I've seen a lot of complaints from people saying that PPM forum members are arrogants and bash newbies often... that it is not newbie friendly.

Err... this kind of thing must happen in both ways: they have to adapt to you in the same way you have to adapt yourself to the society that you belong. If you are posting here, you must adapt yourself to the forum rules and the people who post here.

In a forum with 6322 registered users (of course considerably less if you consider the bots and multiples account), the opinion of less than 10 people is nothing more than a wild speculation.

I'll give you the bot accounts and duplicates. But that accounts for what? A couple hundred? For the sake of argument, we'll say 320 to round that number to 6000 legitimate members. And of that 6000, maybe 75 to 100 are active in multiple areas. So taking that into account, almost no one has a real problem. I can use numbers to make bullshit claims too. That was a nice try, but you need to try harder than that to make a real point.
