Subject description: Simple stuff - Updated!

Very basic attempt at making a weapon projectile with a little trailer.

Comments are appreciated.

EDIT: Uploaded new gif. Better projectile and trailer.

EDIT 2: Uploaded new gif. Better warhead anim (recoloured). Slight enhancement of trailer.

^^yep, make the shape of the big blue ball more random. Also add 2 or 3 frames more to the shp, giving it a small animation.
Then in art.ini add the following code to make the projectile anim work
[Blueballthingyprojectile]
AnimLow=0 ;the game starts counting at frame 0
AnimHigh=2 ;if you have frames 1-3 in shp builder
AnimRate=1

Ok, update:

The projectile now changes shape during flight and the trailer goes less sparkly at the end of the trailer. I know it doesn't show very well in the .gif but it does ingame.

Nice blue plasma alternative. I'd use it if I had a project. One suggestion is a blue explosion though, I think it'd go better than a red one.

Also, where the hell did you get that commando from? Its nice.

Yeah blue explosion would feel more right plus not sure whats with the TS original explo on the background under red exp.

It came as a little surprise in a pack I got from TiberiumWeb.com, although there are some problems over there at the moment, making all downloads not working. Unfortunately I don't remember the original creator since I downloaded it several months ago.

It is indeed the tank exploding. The anim of the warhead is the RA2 Apocalypse Tank warhead anim. I figured nothing short of the Cyborg Commando himself was worthy to overtake that anim.

The last update looks very nice, but I wonder if the muzzle flash at the start would look better if it was aslo blue instead of the red/orange ?

I could ... but considering the commando wasn't made by me, i would feel bad. Also, if I wanted to release it all in the future then I couldn't release the cyborg, considering I don't hold the rights.
