EMP mines create a small EMP blast that is directed at the first unit to come close enough to the mine. This means the EMP blast does not spread evenly around the mine, but instead is spread around the target that triggered the mine to explode. This should in most cases result in more enemy units being affected. The EMP blast has a medium spread range and lasts about half the duration of the EMP Cannon blast. EMP mines are triggered to explode only by vehicles and other heavy objects, which makes them harmless to infantry. EMP mines need to be moved to the desired location and then deployed. QUICK_EDIT
