i think.. im gonna.. cry..

i played a 38 minute game just now and i took about 50 screenshots... none of them worked!? there not there, i looked in SUN directory and they werent there! is there somewhere else they go or is it becaus ei already had a couple screenshots from before i installed that i did this?

Looks good, although for some reason a few of the sidebar images were corrupted for me. Is this known about, or is it just a problem my end?

I liked the renegade sounding obelisk though, nice job.

hmm shame i havent been able to even test it before it was released Rolling Eyes

I fixed the sidbar issue along with many others (all that i know of reported) before i gave it to u seaman ??

also did u fix the gclock/rclock etc ?

It is a problem with TS itself.
And here's how to fix it:
Delete sidec01.mix and sidec02.mix from TS directory.

And the Screen Capture key in Retro is different. Screenshots can be taken with Insert key.
Map can be scrolled with arrow keys. Home,End,Page Up and Down keys can be used to scroll the sidebar.

I think i found a bug?? When i play the NOD campaign in tiberian sun (not the firestorm campaign) the enemy harvester stands still and do nothing. It dosent collect tiberium!! Shocked

I have ver 2.03 with firestorm installed.

That has been always like that in TS and there is no way to fix it. Harvesters need to be manually ordered to start harvesting.

no, since i havent been here SeaMan has decided to release TSR 1.2, even though i havent worked on it since the late beta versions

This is very frustrating as it suddenly was front news on PPM and thats how i found out AND considering the fact it has bugs in it AND considering some of them i fixed way back in the early betas (like the cameos) Mad

I cant actually do anything with my own mod at the moment it seems kinda out of my hands Rolling Eyes but when i do finally get my PC setup and online there is gunna be alot of changes and expect a 1.25 or something similar in which ill iron out all these, what seem to be easy bugs to fix Neutral


Would anyone agree with me saying "it should be me who releases my own mod ?"

2.) Is th Obelisk of Light supposed to be AA?
3.) What good does the Chameleon Spy do when he infiltrates enemy buildings, is it possible to make like the spy out of one of the Red Alerts?
4.) How come the game has an internal error when I play FS or TSR maps in multiplayer?
5.) Are mutant females supposed to have flamethrowers and commit suicide now?
6.) Why does NOD get the EMP Tank and can't build an MSA?
7.) Is it just me or is GDI not allowed to have EMP cannon anymore?
8.) Have new elite abilities been added like self heal, sight upgrade, range upgrade, firepower upgrade, and speed upgrade?
9.) In the TS GDI campaign what does that dropship loading screen do?
10.) Whats up with the in game tags, some are either deleted or missing or screwed up.

1. Fixed in next release.
2. Yes. The Obelisk was meant to hit air targets. Go read some early previews.
3. See what the enemy sees, how much money they got, see what they are building and private messages in multiplayer.
4. No idea.
5. Yes, but that suicide thing is a bug. Fixed
6. That is a shared unit. But MSA is GDI-exclusive unit.
7. If you look carefully, you'll see this is a Nod unit. Heck, it has even the Nod logo.. also how it is built... layers of metal, sloped surfaces and the "evil" look.
8. Some
9. Select your reinforcements. Didn't you read the text on bottom?
"Please choose the loadout for Dropship Reinforcements"
10. What do you mean?

do you have Tiberian Sun: Firestorm add-on installed, Raptor? If not it could very well exlain the crash on FS and TSR maps (if the FS maps were included with this TSR download, that is)

10.) Tags such as in the cyborgs are coming you get the base AFTER cabal starts attacking you stuff like that.
9.) I did, I selected 9 Light Infantry and a Harvester and when the dropship came all I got was one light infantry.

Appearently the wrong palette (or a broken palette) is used for them. But I'm sure SMIFFGIG will have it fixed it the official release.

you have tottaly butchered TSR since i have been away and on top of that tried to release it like this and with bugs. Im really pissed off at your crap, and you wonder why i never let you code (not just due to your ability to continually create internal errors but because of the ridiculous things you wish to add and change (partly due to lack of knowledge about Tiberian Sun and the beta versions)

Why the hell do u think they didnt include this seaman!, because there are SAM sites and not only that in TSR there is the obelisk of darkness. Not EVERYTHING in the beta version of TS are good things, in fact most are bad, but what i have been doing is adding carefully and balancedly all the good things into TSR (which you seem to have wrecked in a second of which it has taken me all this time to create

MSA, this was meant to be GDI exclusive
but try thinking just a tiny bit....... nod do actually go against nod in skirmish.

Same as above, try thinking of balance, something which i have tried to maintain throughout TSR and which you seemed to have tottaly wrecked


These are ridiculous things and i know i am going to have a hell of a time rebuilding TSR when i do properly get back and also rebuildings its reputation

All this stupidity of SeaMan seemigly trying to take the whole mod into his hands and making it into his own and releasing it and putting all these quite honestly crap additions (not all but the ones i have just been talking of) really has annoyed me. All of which i have found out via reading the forum (which i havent been able to do much recently) and in the release of TSR seeing it on the main page of PPM Shocked

Things have really got to a all time low with this which I am upset about, however i do know i can rely on other team members like FinalMoon, Firestorm and KrNMapper to do a decent job

Seaman this may seem like a direct flame (which it is to a large extent) but you really do have alot of explaining to do

GDI: Mobile Sensor Array and Dropship Bay.
Nod: Chameoleon Spy and E-M Pulse Cannon.

SMIFF, I really need to know when you think you'll be back, please say it's soon... As long as we still have your version of the mod that we were going to release, there shouldn't be too much work to do. The site is going up today, with or without TSR. I can't keep it from the public any longer... Please get back to me ASAP...

The only IE happens after 30 minutes.
It is related to how many units the AI builds. I just need to disable shroud so I can know what it really is.
I have also found out what causes slow-down in MP games... it is Stealth Generator. When I disabled AI building them, the game run much more smoothly (until it crashed).

Edit: I have tested the mod on test map and here is some results:
AI seems to be sometimes to forget to use its units and they just sit there.
AI builds a large amount of Component Towers.
What is the cause of crash remains unknown.
