Wrecked GDI Buildings
Subject description: From a mod that fell through
Here are several wrecked GDI buildings that were intended for a mod I was working on. Well, that's over with. These can be used to show an abandoned base, show older GDI 'tech'; whatever. Up to you.
(Yes, the bottom last one is a wrecked ICBM who got his missile stuck in a billboard. )
Give credits if you use these, thanks.
Note: These don't have shadow frames, those need to be painted by yourself.
All are well edited aside from the Radar, Power Plant and the ICBM/Billboard Hybrid which look really distorted and blurry in my opinion. The Power Plant especially looks strange like it's partially melted away like plastic, kind of like something from our old Warp-Zone days. It's a shame you didn't decide to add shadow frames or any secondary damage frames to any of these, they would obviously be far more complete if you did. It's great to see some new assets flowing into the community though, especially worthwhile SHP's. Good job. QUICK_EDIT
Personally I see only overgrown buildings in the power plant, radar, and ICBM. They look kinda blurry and like plastic because of moss and plants growing on them. QUICK_EDIT

Their really good but the missile in the billboard. That could use some work. Also when did billboards pick up the ability to stop entire missiles. QUICK_EDIT
I wanted to say that it was somewhat too much damaged,compared to old C&C1 buildings that were...with better amount of damage management,BUT right now I just checked the pictures with XCC Mixer,and out of context,they seem more damaged and weirds.
So I suppose ingame pics would be needed,to make a proper comment and comparison with C&C1 buildings or the normal buildings the "ruins" are made from. QUICK_EDIT
Doesn't really fit GDI, but meh, it was a funny idea.
For all of you questioning what is up with the ICBM...

Maybe it's cause the chimney on the powerplant got melted! Nah, but seriously, the powerplant is my least favorite out of them all. Thanks though.

The radar looks the best IMO, but it still may be a bit too damaged for even a mod taking place when TW would be. The power plant, while I still see the melty style justified by plant overgrowth, it doesn't look very good at all ingame, mainly because of the crashed power turbine slot. Though they might look better with shadows. QUICK_EDIT

Oh man, that ICBM made me laugh. Its such a funny pose for it to be stuck in. Dude, PLEASE put shadows on it so I have an excuse to use it someday. That is just awesome. _________________ Victory! QUICK_EDIT
