Dunno if this is the best place to ask, but I'm assuming it probably is.

So, My machine is pretty damn outdated. Roughly 40 GB Hard drive. That should tell you something. Anyways, I've been looking for a new machine for purchase (Nothing external, just the CPU itself) and I was curious of what kind of graphics/video card I should have to run just about any game. The problem I have here is that on the system requirements for the games I have list two different cards. One is an ATI Radeon 8500. The other is an ATI Radeon 3870.

Which one do I get? About every PC game I see requires a different card. I need to know which one can run almost any game. I hardly understand any of this stuff with hardware, as this is my first ever upgrade of a PC. I'm basically in the dark here, lol.

The two games are C&C 3 and Fallen Earth. I'm also planning on getting Fallout 3, but I'm unsure of it's required card.

I'm mildly confused as well, so I'd appreciate the advice.

Thanks in advance.

[EDIT] I've already got this sorted out. Sorry If wasted many a persons time. Very Happy
