Yeah, I agree. Make it a tad lighter in the overall shade, and add a bit more remap to it.

It also wouldn't hurt to add a bit more definition to the areas around that sphere & the cockpit so they stand out better.

Good start, you're on the right track.

I would suggest adding a little more contrast to the blue regions (darker colour at the bottom, lighter at the top), so that they are less flat ingame.

It looks really quite good, the second version, though, can you give samples of other colours, like red, purpel, darkblue or something like that? To see, if there is enough remap...
