Ok, Im DaTS's brother, im running Windows 7 and Windows Vista (Ultimate on both) X64 Bit. I found out hot to install TS on Windows 7 by running it in Admin mode, i was able to do the same with Firestorm and Red Alert 2, but now it will not allow me to even get into the installer for YR, and yes i have tried compatibility mode. Still no luck, so does anyone know how to help me with my little problem here?

I got it to work on Win7, only 32bit though. I haven't heard any problems with 64bit OS and YR though, but maybe I'm wrong.

Try disabling User Account Control.

I'm running 64-bit and it works fine for me. I don't use Ultimate though.

Try secruity settings as well under the properties, giving everyone and everything full control.

If not luck and you still wish to turn off user account control (not recemonded if you surf the internet a lot, it could save you from trojans like me), you can go to control panel, secruity, then secruity center, other secruity setting on very bottom, and you will see user account control. Turn it off and you will never again need to run things as admin. Though neither does bad software need permission either. So you may want a good anti virus software ;)

Set the compatibility mode to W98/ME. Should fix that issue.

Installing the games REQUIRES admin rights so just disable the UAC for the PC and your issues should disappear.

On either OS I never had any issues, I run it as Admin all the time.....and never once did I change the compatibility... Am I the only person that never changed the compatibility to anything other than stock info and just ran as ADMIN???.....64 bit runs fine for all games no problems what so ever

Software firewalls are for pussies. Man up, shorty. Get a hardware firewall.
