after having more fun than anything ive experiances with the viceroid spawning weapon.ive come to ask myself som questions....using HZMPLAYS viceroid spawning weapon....gas clouds are the cause of the spawning. if this is correct where is it in the rules ini that states that poison clouds spawn viceroids.ive looked for hours now and i cant find it


reason i ask is because i want to clone the gas clouds spawning properties.... for example i want to test out zombie type units that can self replicate by killing infantry....pretty much exactly how viceroids self replicate by using these ruleshttp://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12257

in these rule it states the MutatorWH is cause of mutation

gascloudsys is a standard particle sys
so to recap my question is simple where in the rules ini does it state
that if infantry is killed by gascloud they spawn into viceroids.

under the [General] section you can find the key SmallVisceroid=VISC_SML
replace VISC_SML with an other VehicleType and you get this vehicle when an infantry is killed and mutates (by gasparticle or tiberium).

But there are things which you can't change and which prevent you from having a selfreplicating mutant.
a) The spawned unit is hardcoded to belong to the owner neutral. You can't make the spawned unit belong to your playing house, thus you can't control it.
b) The spawned unit must be a vehicletype. You can't spawn an infantry.
