Anyone know what causes the AI to spam the map with a certain type of building like in PIC? I have know idea why they are doing this.

In the AI section it only has this for helipads

[AI]
HelipadRatio=.1 ; ratio of base that should be composed of helipads
HelipadLimit=2 ; maximum number of helipads to build

I've never seen the AI build so many factories in RA2 Confused
Did you somehow re-enabled the Helipad logic from TS or something?

Normally the AI would only produce this with building cloning, but thats not the case here. There is no VPORT clones, and according to the AI section they are ordered to only build a max of 2 of them and with a base ratio of only .1 they really should only build 1. I dont know, they are freeking out on this for some strange reason.

Got a threat value on the building?

When I used custom foundations, I had the same problem.
The computer would spam the building across the whole map.
Not sure if its the problem but you can always check.

Ahhh! yep that was the problem Edge. I downsized the .shp files and gave it a normal foundation. Works as should now. Thanks.

Hmmmm, this is still a wierd scenario how the AI would continue to build same building with a custom foundation. I just cant see how that would effect the way they choose to build, but it does.

So that means Custom foundations cannot be used if it is intended for the AI then. Atleast not on Factory= buildings. Sounds like an issue for the BugTracker.
