IE occurs when i choose the enemy to use my new country
I changed Germany to the soviet side and gave them a new tank instead of the rhino, and it works fine for me using the side, but when i try to pick the computer to use the german side the game crashes, why? and also is there a way to change the order in which the pull down menu for selecting what country you want to be? like you have america 1st, then it scrolls down through the allieds then to the soviets then to yuri, or would i have to change all the names in string editor and do it all the hard way? germany is stuck right between 2 allied nations on the pull down menu. did you add Germans to the Owner= on the Soviet MCV?
for the other, if your using Ares I'm pretty sure you can just reorder the country list. like this,
GDI=British,French,Germans,Americans,Alliance -> Remove Germans ;keep this order as GDI first and Nod second
Nod=Russians,Africans,Confederation,Arabs ->Put Germans here. ;and you have to keep the names unless we want to do a concerted all ini and hard coded string sweep (I kinda do, Dustin, so go ahead and tell Henry we need it.)

ok both things work now, but for some reason the AI is building rhino tanks instead of my tiger tanks for germany even though the rhino tank isnt available to germany in the owner=section. also my new warhead for my psychic dominator wont take over the cellspread of 10, when i launch it, it only takes over the one buidling that its targeting over and not the entire base. heres the codes
