So I'm trying to make a decent model rather than some low poly thing without textures, and here's my WiP. Any thoughts or suggestions? I don't know why I put such a strange light casting onto it, but w/e

The model looks nice, but... those barrels are fuckin huuuge. Shrink them big time.

I'm guessing this is a Yuri structure?

First thought is that you use too much green, make the foundation a bit more brown, and the barrels gray maybe.

Battle Lab! Very Happy
Are you trying to match the SHP, or will you be shrinking the "fuckin huge" barrels?

give us an orthographic view of it so we can see how it would look in game and instead of shrinking the barrels you could make them wider, like some kind of holding tank

the first pic is me basically playing around with lights to try to get a shadow to be cast, still haven't figured out how to do it in Anim8or. I also don't know what the exact angles ra2 uses for their renders, but making a .shp isn't my primary goal.

Is this for your Generals Mod? Looks nice, but kinda wierd. Smile Textures are kinda funky too. "I know it's still wip" Nice model though.

Ra2 uses orthographic/isometric views. I've never used Anim8or so I couldnt tell you what it's process is for generating/Rendering for RA2 views and or lighting..

It would make a cool Yuri building Wink

I can tell you that the orthographic view in anim8pr and the one used by ra2 is not the same. There was a thread somewhere that once sad exactly what was used, but I couldn't find it. It IS Yuri's Battle Lab.

This is not for my generals mod, this is just me trying to make a decent model that isn't low poly.

This would be way too high-poly for Generals #Tongue
Anyways, looks good DaFool.
