Can someone tell me what the heck this process is for, and why it eating 50-60% of my cpu up and why cant I shut it off or end the process.. It's causing all sorts of lag problems with other programs such as vxlIII and 3dsMax.

Download ProcessExplorer and run it. It'll tell you why lsass is raping your CPU, or should that is.
