AFH-02B Hellhound
The AFH-02B Hellhound (aka, AH-88 Hellhound) attack helicopter from the anime series Patlabor.
I've been meaning to make this vxl for about five years, ever since I first watched the Patlabor films, I suddenly had the urge to give it a go this morning tho...

Great voxel, Mig. Though I find the actual design pretty redundant. I doubt any army would deploy an aircraft like it.
I dunno, the first thing I thought when a saw it was "Hey look, a Hind M1 24" . It obviously isn't after looking at it (tail, wing length, etc), but it is fairly reminiscent of it imo. QUICK_EDIT

I really don't know how it's reminiscent of the MI 24, because it looks nowhere near it :S

Its a unit from a japanese animation for a game which traditionally has unrelastic proportions/game mechanics so I find all these - not realistic comments kinda redundant.
Judgements should be based off the original concept and the ingames.
Yeah, it has no resemblance to the Hind. The Hind's only real problem is when fully loaded, which is that it needs a runway take off. This one looks like it would have all sorts of problems.
But like AG is saying, it doesn't matter, it was for an unrealistic game. I was just commenting on my thoughts, no need to make an argument out of it. QUICK_EDIT

Actually, I see what he means. The front of the helicopter, in particular the double cockpit is probably what reminds him of the Hind. The difference is that the Hind's cockpit setup isn't angular, its rounded and bubble-shaped.
It sure as hell reminded me of the Hind, until I looked at areas other than the front.

Add in that he probably saw that engine config at the top on the RA3 Twinblade before he saw this helicopter, its likely to give him Hind-y feeling. I agree with the Hind look, sans the comanche esque cockpit. _________________ Victory! QUICK_EDIT

What you stated is an opinion. Facts are things that can be proven beyond reasonable doubt like the fact that light travels faster than sound. You cannot prove that this is "the worst shit ever," so therefor what you said isn't a fact.

The Hind is the ugliest thing to ever fly. It's also one of the deadliest and ztyping scariest too. (okay, the A-10 would have something to say about this...)
