Nolt: you just need to look better I guess. I have several dozen Touhou images that are like this one. It also depends on which site you look of course.
I do indeed have to admit that my previous one (the Necron one) looks better, but it has been more then a year that I've done something signature related, so I'm a bit rusty I guess #Tongue

That, and I wasn't sure what to add to this without breaking the style I had from the image of Ran. In example: I was toying around to add Chen to the image, but that would pretty much ruin it as most images of Chen are not so serious #Tongue

Yes, I can't find a serious image of Chen, maybe you can do something with Yukari, but I wouldn't dare searching for an image, If you know what I mean.
Still the effects on the background are great a must learn for me.

I'm more a fan of Ran and Chen then Yukari, but maybe when I make a new one I will see if I can find a decent Yuraki image as well.
If you want to know how I did the background: I took a wallpaper, c/p-ed a part as background, c/p-ed a different part over it with 50% transpercy, and added some indigo (Ran means Indigo according to the Touhou wiki) splashes here and there for variance. So yeah, maybe you can call it cheating, but it looks good #Tongue

Partially based upon the universe my mod (Frontline Chaos) is set in.

The shadows are horribly wrong when compared with the explosion, and will be fixed later if I can find the interest.

On a serious note, where are the glowing green bits?

Also, it looks like a Terminator hydrobot, but it's bigger. Waaaay bigger. Also, it has legs. And has big gauss rifles mounted on the sides of it's head.

It's a Tomb Stalker. Think about a Mammoth Tank mating with a TWKW Mechapede, and the Tomb Stalker is their baby.

@Fen and LKO: as Rats points out, it's a Necron Tomb Stalker from Warhammer 40.000. Or as I call it, 'evil critter' #Tongue

It's a mechanical centipede that can phase through everything and can cut up enemy infantry and armour like it's nothing. Real nasty according to the lore. The way Rats describes it (Mammoth Tank meets Mechapede) is also a proper description.

@Rats: it's WiP. I need to see how I'm going to insert the green rods as for one of the Gauss Flayers the part where it sticks in is broken off (came this way unfortunately). That, and the base needs to painted and stuff.
Also, I've always been a Necron player, with some Space Marines (or better said, Samurai Marines) as a side project for collecting.
