PreRA2 Progress Thread

Welcome back to PreRA2, ladies and gents.
This is now a community endeavor. I simply don't have the motivation to finish this mod all by my lonesome - I've been working on it, off and on, for 10 years now!
October will mark 10 years, so let's get this thing done.

Hello I am Dasfonia, also know elsewhere as 1bobsam1, bobsam, or Fsfssgffd.
About Me: I have always been interested in Pre- Release stages of many games that I like to play, simply because betas/alphas usually contain material that was cut from the final release of the game and that material, in my opinion looks usually better then the final build of the game.
So I decided to try making my own pre-release stuff. I first started to help Prime/ Symphonic when I showed him my work on a Pre-Soviet Barracks cameo(which will be in the mod) I made, so he liked it and he welcomed me aboard the team. But I had been talking to him about a year and a half before that event.

Though I believe that these are more like remasters than C/P work - something which I have to say takes perseverance and skill in the extreme. QUICK_EDIT

snow buildups don't make sense, unless you have the snow exploding up as the building comes out of the ground. Something thats is brand new wouldn't have had any snow acculmulate on it yet. _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT

Err, what do you need to touch up? I finished it a few days ago.

I did, but they are still NOT 100% done and no anywhere to being ingame. I did a complete redo of the remap areas. Also if you looked close enough at the pre-release screen shot of that Tesla Coil you can see a concrete base I have to finish adding that in. QUICK_EDIT

Hey, that looks like the one on my dad's RA2 collector's edition. That's the BETA version.
TIP:
you know the part when the chrono legionnaire wipes out a building, the animation. Change that to the anim that looks like the "Yuri brain Blast" but much more colorful (Bubble-like-color scheme). Because that's the original RA2 BETA anim for the Chrono Leg.... _________________
Does anyone have a picture of the very old Soviet battle lab, it looked like it's foundation was underground, and the battle lab had a moat surrounding it, four pipes attached to the structure, one from each side. Umm that's not from the collectors edition... notice it's all off screen crappy quality footage there was never any of that in the collectors a edition ONLY a bit and it was off screen good quality footage. At any rate I already have a build up done for the Tesla Coil and active animations all I have to do is fix the remap on every frame and add in the base which isn't as easy as you'd think because of the base. Here's the finished construction yard buildup, thanks to Dasfonia. He bugfixed my work and did a little bit to fix some shit Westwood had messed up, too.
