Years ago (Windows says 2006 as my edit on one of them, I think 2005), I found three files, one SHP Library and two VXL Libraries.

The SHP library is mostly composed by Blade's and Gamemate's conversions from various games, those are fine, because I have the readmes. However in the VXL libraries, there are mostly no readmes OR I deleted them back in 2006-2007... I can't remember exactly.

The original zips are lost in an HDD crash in 2008, and I messed up their unzipped content with some YRArg asset, so I can't reupload nor check them. (Yeah, that was my noob time) The voxels are dated to be made between 2000-2002.

The question is, can I use these assets in a public mod if I don't know who's the author of them?

Dont see why not just as long as credit dosent go to you of course. With something like this, I usually just put Author- Unknown at this time. Then if someone should recognize it, they maybe able to give you authors info. Then just simply change it.

So long as you don't take credit, it should be fine if everything is public material. I have a bunch of maps without proper creditship yet because I don't know the author, yet everything is public.

I have various shp/vxl library downloaded from where ever. If you are concerned about giving credit, send me what you have and I'll look trough my stuff and see if I can help you match item with person.

I'd be happy if somebody could reorganize it with proper readmes and stuff. There are some amazing voxels in this which just needs autonormals, for example, some ships.

I downloaded the file and I got an error when extracting, Here is a screen shot of partial view of error. I recognize some of the folders or items listed in the error message. I believe I have a lot of what you uploaded. I'll try and sort through what I can to help out.

I forced 7-Zip to use LZMA compression, I guess your WinRAR can't handle that.

TBH I never had LZMA problems with my 6.55 Total Commander, that's why I thought it won't be a problem.
