Does anybody know anything of them, especially of the MXL 570 or the MX 471?

Have some crappy Panasonic headphones right now, before I had some good quality Pleomax headphones, which were uber awesome, but sadly I haven't found them on the Romanian market anymore...

So, any opinions?

Got my Sehnheiser headset for several years now, and still haven't disappointed me. That includes carrying in my bag to school and bag for the same period of time #Tongue

I really wouldnt advise Sennheiser

Great headphones.... for the 6 months they last

flimsy connection at the jack plug, check out the reviews on amazon, they say the exact same thing (which i chose to ignore wen i got mine)

currently sitting in my draw broken and unrepairable #Mad

Saying this I am looking at getting some more but I'm not sure what to go with, maybe some overhead ones ?
I really cant be arsed forking out £60 for another in-ear pair just for them to break again after 6 months.

But if u stumble across anything or anyone has any suggestions I would also be happy to know Smile

If you pump the volume too much.

I've got a pair of Sennheiser 565, which have been going strong for over 10 years now! Only had to replace the cable once for £25, which isn't bad considering 565s can cost a few hundred too replace.

My advise is is to splash out & get a really good pair of headphones. If you buy ones for £20-50 then TBH I'm not surprised they don't last, some really good £150-200 ones will last a life time tho.

I have been using a set of Bose Around-ear noise cancelling for more than three years, including a combat tour to Iraq. They worked incredibly well, especially on helicopters. I have never lost any quality in music, and I like it fairly loud. Smile

I got a Sennheiser PC 333D G4me which is a pretty good headset.

The sound it produces is great and the microphone gives out great sound. It even comes with a optional USB soundcard.

It might be a little tight on the head in the beginning, but it does loosen up a bit after some time of wearing it.

As for earplugs I'm just using the ones included with my HTC Desire Z which were surprisingly good...

Yeah, bumping this thread.

Right now I can spend about 70$ on a new pair of headphones. Got some small sennheiser ones, intraaural which are quite tough and good.

But I'd like to get some big ones, over-the-ear kind, and TBH I'm between some uber-bass'd Sony pair and some Sennheiser ones.

Found a nice website : www.headphone.com. I really like the comparison graphs thet have.

Sony MDR-XB500

Around 70-80 dollars.
Quality beats just about any headphones I've used including the overhyped "Beats by Dre."

The bass is also great, so if you listen to bass-heavy songs. You'll love these. :]
