Comodo Firewall + Ares = FIXED!

So here is a written tutorial.
This should work for all versions of Windows that RA2 can be played on.
I used Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

1. Open Comodo Firewall User Interface. (double click the icon in the system tray.)
2. Click the Defense tab.

3. Click Defense+Settings.

4. Go to Execution Control Settings, and then click the Exclusions button at the bottom of the window.

5. Go to, ADD then Browse

6. Find the folder where you have Ares mod installed.

7. Select (files below) and add them to the Selected Items box.
GameMD.exe
RunAres.Bat
Syringe.exe

8. Press Apply, then Apply again, then Ok, then close the Comodo Firewall window.

9. open the RunAres.Bat

10. Enjoy modding the game!

meh bad... my friend told me to post it in the tutorial vault so thats what i looked for and i guess i just clicked on the first one i seen... i was also tired from staying up all night converting and editing models...

My friend had me chat with some the Ares DEVs, and they told me to do the same thing... so i uninstalled it and tested ares, and sure enough it worked, but i just didnt feel ares was worth it at that point... so i decided if i cant get it to work with comodo firewall id just not use ares. but i did get it to work after 10 minutes of messing around with settings... Laughing
