Yes, its possibly the weirdest question I ever made on PPM, but seriously - how do you feel it/experience it? If you want, split it on genres. But how do you feel it, or what do you feel when you listen to music?...

Electronic music, hiphop, tekno, that all feels like dancing.

Jazz feels like sitting down on the grass, chilling out.

Classical music feels like sitting down with my eyes closed.

Math rock feels like, no, triggers all kinds of crazy ideas.

'Heavy' metal feels like drinking beer and doing silly stuff drunk.

Hardcore punk feels like you wanna go demonstrate against all the things in your country you dislike.

'Extreme' metal, grindcore feels like wrecking things, pretty much. Or people too, sometimes.

Rihanna and Kate Perry feels like feels good man.

Ain't it a better question to say what kind of music you listen to while doing something? #Tongue

Hm, considering that most of the music in my possession and interest is from video games, most of the time I think of imagery relevant to those games or themes within them (such as war, combat, feelings expressed by people, and landscapes formed). The few songs with lyrics however, tend to direct imagery to follow the lyrics, as well as in feelings.

Woah, feeling music? Of course! I'm a dancer by heart and I feel the beats within my bones. My dance is coming from instincts, my mind, my thoughts gets possessed by them...

For example, when I listen Nakatsuru's Duelists (Soul Calibur 1), I almost feel a sword in my hand to fight against. When I hear Satriani's Mind Storm, I'm always close to enrage...Healing Winds (Soul Calibur 3) could make me cry... Technotronic's Get Up is a jumpy tune... I'm like Audiosurf in a way... dynamic to the music... and almost every song can possess me in a way or another.

This is why I never liked the nightclubs. Those are just plain beats without feeling, without intuition... without personality, harmony or balance. Not to mention the screamo trash, which just only brings chaos raping melody on the way.

Gufu is mostly correct that in video games and industrial/ambient music gets the mind more freed to associate. I remember, I even played video game songs for people who don't know where the songs from, asking them to say what they feel... and usually, they not just felt the situation of the game... but they went even deeper than I thought of, than the game describes it. However not knoing the language makes wonders too, like that I know nothing on Ukrainian still I listen Океан Ельзи, because I feel the power of waves within Коли тебе нема.

Yep, this is what I feel in a short... I could write litanies about my interaction with music... because my soul is obsessed with them definitely.

I usually stick my ear to the Sub, lets me hear it to a point it rattles my grey matter.
