...well i'm slightly confused as to how it's hotter in Toledo than it is here which is roughly 2 1/2 / 3 hours south of Toledo, the area south of Dayton. Although it isn't much hotter up there.
We peaked at 98F today with a heat index predicted to go past 110F. Humidity down here is also a bit higher. And to be honest...the humidity makes shit far worse IMO. For example...humidity level is far lower today, around 56%, compared to the 90ish% a few days ago when it was only 92F out.
I'll take hotter dry weather than slightly less hot but super humid weather any day.
All I can say is....at least for work we're past the part were we had to unload trucks all day and that we'll be heading up to michigan come first part of August for a much needed vacation. _________________ Kalistia Crestland (2)

@Ixith, I dont know how it's hotter here, but it is. First pic shows what it is right now at 8:15 PM, second one shows what it got to today. and at one point the heat index reached 115. We always have high humidity here being so close to lake erie and all.

It's fucking hot here too. But for my neck of the woods, it's par for the course around this time of year. Relief is headed my way on Sunday though. But at least the rest of you don't live smack in the middle of Tornado Fucking Alley like I do. Though, by the Law of Averages, one of you will too.

When I lived in Phoenix Arizona it would get up 115 degrees and that was in the shade so I know what hot is. But for this area its about 10 degress hotter than the avg _________________ I am authorized to send out the TMP Studio, PM ME IF YOU WANT IT And check this out, these were sent to me for help with terrain and zdata help along with TMP Studio/Builder
Well currently, the part of the United States I live in, we're going through the worst drought in American history (even worse than the dust bowl).
It's gotten so bad, we're under an indefinite burn ban, or at least until it pours cats and dogs for a week straight. This is supposed to be the "rainy season," but so far we haven't seen a drop. If it doesn't rain soon, well, say hello to Desert, Oklahoma. _________________ Okay, my signature was starting to annoy even me. QUICK_EDIT

I'm glad I live in the UK. I hate temperatures above ~30C. It's a cosy 13C right now according to the Met Office, although it's going to get hotter next week.
Also, I need to find some way to make you all use celsius. _________________

I may as well be soon enough. I'm actually planning on going to Lakenheath AFB in England to enlist, after having my application rejected twice from the Air Force Academy.
Hey, if I'm going to go to a foreign country, I'm going to do it the first time on my own terms, not because the military pointed their finger. _________________ Okay, my signature was starting to annoy even me. QUICK_EDIT
Hot? Its getting colder here, with each day ^^ Around 15C°, if I should guess + rain. And from what I see, it wont get past 20C° for the next week - well, I'm in Portugal for about 4 weeks anyway, I will see how hot its there _________________

Well it dropped a few. I wish it was mud season again. Then I wouldn't be sweating like hell. I am the kind of human who thrives in the cold. So if this global whether change continues, I hope it gets colder. Last edited by hotrods20 on Wed Apr 22, 2020 9:38 am; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT

We hit 38 celsius over near Detroit yesterday. Heat index was close to 44.
Good thing I didn't have to do anything but sit inside an air-conditioned house. _________________ YR modder/artist, DOOM mapper, aka evanb90

Are you guys serious? You have nowhere to cool off other than your houses? What about pools or the beach? Over here it's about 100 fahrenheit (yeah if I said 100 celsius, then something's wrong). _________________ Tiberium Uprising (a few missions for TS): http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31029 QUICK_EDIT
it's a sunny day here in Hamilton, and a toasty 15 degrees.
It was nearly 30 in summer. I hated the heat, it was crippling.
Good luck finding less uncomfortable weather, guys! QUICK_EDIT

You live in a third world country and you're okay with such high temperatures? You guys probably can't even go plow with the goats in that weather. _________________ Victory! QUICK_EDIT
bah ha ha anti-Detroit is anti-Detroit. I thought Detroit was a demilitarized zone between Canada and the US, with harsh guerrilla warfare being conducted around the clock. _________________ You come for the modding but you stay for the Crap Forum. QUICK_EDIT
Patrolling the Mojave Desert makes you wish for Nuclear Winter.
You made my frieking day with that. Fallout reference FTW.

Yeah it's hot and I can only go to the library and my house for nice cool air. Restaurants and the beach are not within biking distance of my house. QUICK_EDIT

Actually, it was the heart of America's auto industry, but after automobile manufacturing largely shifted out of the city, it collapse economically as a huge portion of it's economy was invested in auto manufacturing. Now it's like India pretty much meets Compton, California. Rappers and all. _________________ Victory! QUICK_EDIT
Next great war will be fought in Detroit, JK lawl.
Detroit has almost nothing and needs to be rebuilt. To bad that whoever goes near their will get shot unless they are strapped with a better gun and some skills to use it. QUICK_EDIT
To reinvigorate Detroit you need some incentive to draw developers in, and I just don't see that happening. Especially if it's going to be a product that will be shipped overseas, too? Detroit is just not in an ideal position to ship overseas goods. I highly doubt Detroit will die, but what it'll become is a huge question. _________________ Victory! QUICK_EDIT

Oh, it's Volgin. No surprise there! The last time he made an informed opinion was in 2008!

There was talk sometime ago about leveling significant portion of detroit that was decaying and selling that land cheaply back to citizens. Probably not a bad idea.
Also, Detroit -> Great Lakes -> Atlantic Ocean. _________________ You come for the modding but you stay for the Crap Forum. QUICK_EDIT
Sometimes it's really HOT in Russia, especially this summer, but these days it's better somehow, but hot, it's bad for me because I'm in hospital now after carcrash, and it's only a small cooler in my room here
Back on topic, my excessive heat warning expired. But now I'm back to an excessive heat watch. I can't win. _________________ KGR | AT
