Subject description: No SHP's in the mixer folder.

While using SHP builder to make a few cameos to cover up some bad cameos, I also saw from other topics it could be used to view a unit/build/animations (<--I think). But when I open'd up XCC mixer, I couldn't find any thing that had to do with this. I even used find and nothing show'd up, like when I wanted to find GAPILE, I just typed it in and it didn't find anything.

Any help?

PS. When I used Object Extracter, it only had .xif, not .shp

Nope, still nothing. Even if I search up rulesMD.ini, nothing shows up. Should I reinstall both Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge?

PS...when I play Yuri's Revenge, almost ALL of my units have no voice. So I am pretty sure I should do that?

Umm... if you have any mod file INIs that are not RA2**.ini, delete them. Unless they are important to you.

For the SHPs, they should be in ra2.mix>generic.mix>ggpile.shp

I never used anyone else's mod for around 9 years now. So there shouldn't be any mod in RA2.

Was that for the 'My units in Yuri's Revengehave no sound' question?

Also, I went to Generic.mix and I only found a limited amount of .shp's. Is there a full list of .shp's where it has like the Oil Derrick shp?

I don't know why you have such a limited amount of files...

Anyways if you have no sound, make sure that there exists files named audio.bag and audio.idx in langmd.mix.

For oil derrick, search for CTOILD.SHP, or in ra2.mix>isotemp.mix.

If you can't find any of these files, then yes, reinstall.

I don't really like reinstalling because I loss my 'sexy' saves. Neutral

But I will have to get over it or copy the saves in the directory.

Thanks.

PS, no, NONE of them are there. So I gotta reinstall it.

If you use non-TFD, you just have to recopy ra2md.mix from the setup folder.

The audio bug can be caused by RA2 Aftermath, I ran into similar problems with XCC Mod Launcher 1.09, that it forgets to delete audio.bag/idx from the main folder.

You all don't know anything do you?.

Anthrax, the search option for XCC is useless.

to find the barracks shp file, open xcc mixer, go to your ra2 directory, open ra2.mix (Not ra2md, just ra2.mix), go to generic, press on your keyboard G G P and you'll find it.

@all of the others: I score one :XD:

The search option in XCC Mixer is not useless. Plus, I told him to look inside the mixes too.

I'm worried that he is also missing other mixes too, langmd. mix for example.

Please read the entire post, I've told him 2 successful ways to find GGPILE.shp; and like I've told kenosis, it's a few posts up.

Also, I'm pretty sure that reinstallation takes 20 minutes max.
