Subject description: new Conversion WIP [RA3->SHP]

It´s Time again, that you pee ya panz.

Working currently on a 3dsm Template that allows me to create new and better looking infantry easily.

As you can see there a 2 different standing/running/shooting Frame-Sets.
will add sniper and shotgun soon...

And again I use cnc-sample-art...
still wondering why nobody else does (/did before).

Oh...and why I´m tellin/showin you this?
who knows...maybe because i´m cruel #Tongue

Those firing anims sure need to have muzzle effect(s) and a few bullet cases falling, no remap, that's for now.

and about that template, can you release it so people can take a look at it?.

will maybe release some older templates in the next weeks.

those were made with the same technique (saving animations and load them into the template)

Not sure, he might fit the Ranger better. The Guardian is a slow, more heavily armed unit.

now another one...this time with bazooka

after some fixes in the anims and adding new animations i will maybe be working on some other units like:
- Sniper
- Shotgun-Guy
- Combat-Engineer
- Combat-Medic
- Commando
- ...
- Desert and Arctic Versions...

but of course that depends on my sparetime
and once i got some more time i will push on "Brick Wars"

Rami should do a complete set of infantry to replace RA2's cartoony ones. So we all can use them and never use anymore cut-n'-paste infantries. :p

ok...this will hopefully the last one i show you in the comming weeks (have to do uni-work)
this would/could be a combat engineer with a weapon-warhead that has verses set to 0% for everything except infantry-armor, and still can capture buildings

I like the idea of heat-resistant gloves. You could keep them distinguishable from the rest of the suit, but either darken them or the flamethrower + tanks.

main idea behind the white sleeves and gloves was to make it not visible, that the tube is sometime covered by the arm...

i just make the tube wider and the arms brown again + darker gloves

maybe...but this way it would not look very soviet (ra2/ra3 that is)
had a system crash on monday and have to reinstall 3dsm first before finishing this...
i think i might release a pack of maybe 6 to 9 guys (2-3 for allies, soviets and yuri) in the coming month or so.
we´ll see

PS: NO data was lost...so that lil crash is no excuse for not releasing something...
some technique that is very common here when not being capable of finishing stuff...
