Weird ...
Subject description: or what ?
so, i got over the adding infantry thing, thinking of it now, it's kinda easy BUT when i wanted to add the battle bunker from Y'sR to Ra2 the weirdest thing happened.
nabnkr.shp, nabnkrmk.shp and bnkr.icon are in my ecache13.mix, copy+pasted the art section, nabnkr is in the Building types and it has the nabnkr section but when in game, i build it, i place it on the battle field, and it automaticly becomes neutral and the ai sells it. Here's the art section and nabnkr section ...

It's RA2, duh.

Any InfantryType members of this TaskForce will enter the nearest structure with InfantryAbsorb=yes set if it is owned by the owner of the TaskForce or any of its allies and has space available.
63,0 = Occupy Battle Bunker (Yuri's Revenge only)
Any InfantryType members of this TaskForce with Occupier=yes set will enter the nearest structure (which they own) with CanOccupyFire=yes set.
64,0 = Garrison Structure (Yuri's Revenge only)
Any InfantryType members of this TaskForce with Occupier=yes set will enter the nearest (neutral) structure with CanOccupyFire=yes set. This action is used specifically for this purpose due to action #59 (see above) since the logic in Yuri's Revenge has changed so that the units weapon is transferred to the structure. Use of this action also allows the computer to repair those structures by sending an InfantryType with Engineer=yes set into them and also allows the AI to differentiate between attacking such a structure and entering it, which is useful if you want the AI to use infantry to destroy an occupiable structure thus preventing its enemy from using it.

give me a break,Graion. Yesterday i just found out how to move infantry fron Y'sR to Ra2, ok ? ... i ain't no freakin' expert at this s#!t ... but you were right, i removed the buildup and it works, thanx ... and does anyone have a cameo for the robot tank, i kinda ... missplaced mine QUICK_EDIT
yeah, i know, but i didn't thought a garissonable building is not actually buildable ... and thanx for the cameo, it works fine (like something could go wrong) QUICK_EDIT

I really don't get what is the purpose porting YR stuff to plain RA2 since most will NOT WORK since YR added lots of new logic for new things! Why don't you just mod YR?

1. as i said previous, a few days ago i just managed to add infantry to ra2 so you can imagine the experience i have with modding.
2. for now, i'm just gonna learn how to properly tweak the rulesmd.ini and maybe after i master this somewhat difficult art i'll try modding Y'sR
3. no, i didn't used the control center.
4(and most important). i just wanted to add a couple of things to play the Ra2 campaign ... i like it more than the campaign in Y'sR QUICK_EDIT

yeah, but even with TechLevel=(above -1) and Owner=(soviets/allies/both) they are still not buildable and since i didn't know that garissonable buildings are not buildable it seemed weird to me ... QUICK_EDIT

i partly agree. i've had my share of tweaking the rulesmd.ini but atm i'm using apocalypse mod and if this mod would be a woman, i could say i love her so maybe later, when i'll get bored of it and try to make my own one ... i doubt this will happen soon, since i've been playing this mod for almost 3 years and i still enjoy playing it :d QUICK_EDIT

nah ... as i said, not right now, first i wanna learn how to add/remove/edit things in Ra2 (which i consider to be simpler) and after that i'll start modding Y'sR ... i would probably f#ck up Y'sR, and besides, i'm not using any mod for Ra2 even if i tryied a lot of mods there was none i liked so i decided to make my own mod, just the way i like it
off-topic: there's a mod for Ra2 or Y'sR, i can't remember it's name but i remember it having the Ghost from StarCraft. Any idea where i could find the files for that unit ? ... i already searched on google for SC units converted to Ra2, but all sites with downloadable things (probably what i was looking for) were down/doesn't exist any more/never existed ... Now, if you say C&C is superior to StarCraft manyfolds, sure, and I would concur, but you can't say it's a shitty game, because it's not. Really, if a game is shitty, people would know; I've played StarCraft, and enjoyed it.
