Missing Cameo !!!
Subject description: How can I properly make my own cameo !? Help !
Can anyone tell me how to properly make my own cameo !?
I have made it like this:
1 I searched on google the conscript pic that i wanted to make cameo for.
2 When I found it, I copied it directly from google (small size)
3 I opened My Open Source SHP Builder v3.36
4 I clicked New, and in the pop up window I set up-> Game:RA2 and Type:Cameo
5 After clicking OK a window popped up and asked if i want to redefine new preferences or sth, and i clicked NO cuz i want default pref.
6 I click Palette-> Red Alert 2-> cameo.pal, so i have chosen the palett.
7 Then i click the small blue (my deafult bckgrnd color) window and press Ctrl+V (paste).
8 Then I Click: Tools-> Effects -> Smooth (Conservative) -> Conser. Smooth
9 After smoothing the pic a bit, I resized it to 60x48
10 I Click: File-> Save As and I saved it as CONSICON .SHP (TS) (Since there is only SHP (TS), SHP(TD), SNO and TEM domain)
11 I save it in the RA2 folder as CONSICON.SHP
12 Then I made A veteran simbol on the same pic and saved it as ALTCONSICON.SHP (TS) into ra 2 folder
13 Then I open the art.ini
14 There I find CONSCRIPT PROPERTIES:
15 I have changed the Cameo and AltCameo values into the cameo and altcameo file names in ra2 folder that i made and put.
16 And that's all I went into the game and the conscript cameo is reporting: Missing Cameo!
... I really dont know whaat i am doing wrong so please help me to find out
P.S. And if you need a pic of step by step how i did all this I'll post !

Put your cameo in an ecachemd##.mix where ## is a number between 02 and 99, This isn't the place where you should post this anyways, any bugs of this kind go into the Ra2 editing fourm. _________________ Also known as superluigi949 and SuperMario949.

Ok thank you anyway.. i think i have to learn about xcc utilities first !
But can you help me to understand and do that !? _________________ . .. ... I have a dream of Iron Curtained Mustang in Red Alert 2 ... .. .

Here's the thing that I've done:
1. I simply opened the xcc Mixer
2. Opened eceche97.mix
3. Inserted the shp-s from my cameos and copacted and it appeared ingame!
