help needed with airburst weap

I wanted to make chemical missile more than just to fall and stink
so I made it act as Cluster missile, but results are terrible

all that happens is Chem missile comes above target area
drops only 1 projectile and nothing happens
(yes I have airburst weapon assigned to dummy unit)

I haven't change anything in Gas warhead

It's the Cluster key on the projectile defining the amount of cluster missiles, not the Burst key on the AirburstWeapon.
Burst on the AirburstWeapon is not used at all and ignored by the engine.

Look at the MultiMissile which has Cluster=10, thus fires 10 small missiles.

Also 0% verses on the warhead will surely give you an IE when the AI tries to fire that weapon, as it can't find an appropriate target.

hmm
I've corrected the cluster issue
and the warhead issue increased to 1% to all verses

but now no gas comes out of clustered missiles
nothing at all

Give the weapons Damage=1. With 0 the warhead is ignored.
