Don't use AN=yes(tag is obsolete).
EMEffect=yes have no effect with or without Ares.
Also may I ask why you use IsHouseColor=yes with LaserInnerColor and LaserOuterColor=?

and Arvin's comments can be ignored, he has no clue apart from AN=yes which serves no use there... and of course empeffect but thats just not an issue.
Also LaserOuterSpread=20 ; wrong like value, it expects rgb not an size value while discarded due to housecolor like innercolor & outercolor so defining them makes no difference.
Anim=EMP_FX01 ; again terrible idea, the animation is normally a forever loop unless you fixed this...
AmbientDamage is declared uselessly and usage of such in an AA capable weapon would be a no-no anyway, to parse ambientdamage field you need IsRailgun=true and some particle system hooked in or issonic like wavebeam routines.

I put TerrainFire=yes in afterwards to see if it would fire at something. It does fire, but only at trees. So why would it fire at terrain objects and nothing else? _________________

Na, your right about the emeffect=. It's just there from a c/p warhead. But other than that I dont see why TerrainFire=yes would stop it from firing at other things. That tags just allows you to also fire at Terrain Objects from what I gather. _________________

It's not TerrainFire=yes. I tested your code as is by giving it to Patriot (and yes, I was running Ares). It let me target Rocketeers as an example just fine so how about checking the structure/unit code and you should definitely clean up your weapon code.
AmbientDamage= does not do crap without IsRailgun=true or IsSonic=yes. As ArvinCool stated, laser color flags are unnecessary with IsHouseColor=yes and even if they weren't you have apparently misunderstood how LaserOuterSpread= works. You don't define a single value, but a comma-separated list of three RGB values which are used for fluctuating laser color effect. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
Wierd, I had this weapon working perfectly before. But, yes, it was indeed the structure code. Some how my dumb ass managed to put LandTargeting=1 for some unknown reason. What a pisser. I had been back and forth changing my weapon codes several several times and is why it's so messy. Ah well, crap happens I guess. Thanks a bunch guys. _________________
