Crossfire, Final War, Reign of Steel and TS:Rewire releases!
However, mod promotion here will not be a permanent problem, since I've been working a lot on a mod promotion system. Unfortunately, it's in alpha stages, so I can't share it yet, but, hopefully, we'll have a feature that will show the news categorized by games or subject in the site and we'll expand our RSS feeds service soon.
Anyway, here's the mod releases that we missed since the end of july:
- Crossfire is a mod that expands Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars with new units for all sides and a new faction. Back in the end of July, zeusbig has released a public demo of the mod. This public demo has new units for GDI, Nod and Scrin, but it doesn't feature the new faction yet. In order to download it, click in the picture below:
- CnC: Final War is a modification for Yuri's Revenge set in an apocalyptic scenario. A public testing release has been posted by m7 on early august and it requires a recent development version of Ares. Click in the picture below to download it (note: soundtrack link there was broken as far as I've checked).
- Reign of Steel is a total conversion for Yuri's Revenge (with NPatch Extended) that brings GDI, Nod and a new faction called Orbittal Federation to the battlefield with new units and the amazing graphics from Holy Master. He has released a public testing version of the mod last week with, according to him, 80% of the mod done. So, the factions are working, there might be few problems and few older graphics, but the mod itself is looking great. Click in the pictures below to download it:
- Tiberian Sun: Rewire is a mod that brings the Tiberian Sun universe into Yuri's Revenge with the great graphics from Gangster and his supporters. This mod also had a public testing version released recently. This mod is now open source, which means that it can be continued by everyone.
