Advances made using information retrieved from the Tacitus have once again opened the world's shipping lanes, with the threat of Tiberium Algae being reduced, warships are making an appearance yet again.

Nod Naval Information:

Name: Typhoon Sea Sled
Role: Defensive Ship
Armament:
-1 "Screamer" Torpedo Tube
-Ghost Scan Sensor Array

The Typhoon Sea sled is the recon bike of the seas. While only lightly armed, the Typhoon is capable of attaining very high speeds on the water and due to their small size, it is unable to be picked up by enemy Radar. It is also equipped with sensors which allow it to detect enemy sub-marines making it a necessary asset for any Nod Navy.

Name: Sarajevo Missile Frigate
Role: Defensive ship and shore bombardment
Armament:
-2 "Hell-Winder Missile" Battery
-2 "Sky-Watch" SAM Battery

The Sarajevo is the workhorse of the Nod Navy. It is armed with a brace of missile launchers which are capable of striking land targets, enemy vessels and aircraft making it the most versatile unit in the Brotherhood's fleet.

Name: Memphis Battleship
Role: Heavy Bombardment Ship
Armament:
-"Gian Proton Cannon"

The Memphis is the heaviest ship Nod has at it's disposal. Armed with powerful proton Cannons, the Memphis is capable of levelling enemy shore installations and other ships. It is however slow and vulnerable to attacks from GDI sub-marines and needs to be defended by other ships.

Exceptional descriptions. It's good to see these used. Smile Although, I definitely designed the Sarajevo to be a battlecruiser, not a frigate haha, but it's your mod! Good work!

Somehow I always thought Nod would be the one using submarines, since they fit their sneaky tactics. Though it's just a stereotype supported by Red Alert, bad guys using sneaky subs and good guys having a large navy. At least this way you are being original Wink

By the way, how do you plan creating the subs? Simply using Cloakable=yes? Does ASW=yes (Anti-Submarine-Warfare) work on projectiles?

Haha it made sense to give GDi sub-marines because I have seen GDI's arsenal being affected by the Soviet Arsenal ( i.e the Mammoth Tank) and because I found a very fitting sub-marine for GDI lol The sub just uses a fast cloaking speed, so far it can fire upon land targets, anyone know how to solve that?

You have to take one armor class only for naval units and make the warhead have 0% against all other armor types.

In RA1 Aftermath the the destroyer submarine (or whatever it was called) could fire on land targets.

But it was armed with missiles not torpedoes.
