ok...here´s my problem.

i want an engineer that does what an engineer does + is able to deploy into an building.

afaik infantry cannot deploy into buildings...

only workaround the came into my mind was to make a vehicle that looks like an engineer and give it a modified SuperMindControl thinggie.
when the unit captures a building it should die...to somewhat emulate the engi...

are there other workarounds?

If you're using Ares, maybe a suiciding mind control weapon with a permanent mind control warhead would work.

well...that´s basicly the idea i had...

problem is that such a "vehicle" would not be able to repair bridges and buildings, etc

suicide=yes makes my unit die before it is able to "capture" the building...

No, it couldn't repair bridges but I'm pretty sure buildings isn't out of the question. It wouldn't be an 'enter to repair' effect, but it would be like repairing a vehicle.

played around with mindcontrol-stuff and i think the only ting that migt work like a want it would be to make it work like the supermind but reduce the amount of controllable buildings to 1 + the "i´m forever mindcontrolled"...

problem would be that the supermind would aswell be able to control only one unit...

Permanent mind control with a dummy firing anim that kills the unit? You could control the damage/length of the anim to make sure it captures the building before it dies etc.
