Taking a break
Subject description: Or how I learned to stop worrying about the less important things right now...
Alright, I know a lot of people reading this don't really give a damn, but...
...I have been, and still am on, a break from Modding right now. The reasons are two fold.
The first is that right now, I'm caught in a few legal snares. I've been working on a few things like getting names changed, having certificates re-issued, and the job centre has been most unhelpful. Right now, fixing all of this is my priority.
Secondly, a lot of what I had planned to do with Ares and YR doesn't look like it's doable. This is in part because I am only one man who's having to learn everything by hand. This is also in part some of the complexaty to the mechanics I wanted to bring to the table for it. This is also in part because the AI is a cheating bastard, doing things it's not supposed to be doing. You could say I'm for the most part burned out at this point.
And no, this is NOTHING to do with the last post regarding my status and well being - I still for now intend to be active, but I have other priorities right now that impare my ability to mod.
I figured it was more or less manners to inform the rest of you, especially regarding it's not been announced yet (I want to get it to some level of workability before I start talking more in depth). Will you catch me around here? It's possible, but for now a lot of things have taken the backseat.
