LAN doesn't work correctly

I can enter the LAN lobby and even host games without problems. However, I don't see anyone in the lobby (even though my brother and I should be in said lobby..)

We both have the latest version of the beta. We're both running Windows 98 compatibility mode and admin. We've corrected all issues with Hamachi as well.

When playing vanilla TS/FS, we can connect without problem. It seems as if TI is the only game we can't see each other in the lobby..

Nobody else seems to be having these problems, so I'm a bit confused.

Twisted Insurrection Public Beta 2 comes with the CnCNet version 2 multiplayer client, which has been discontinued and as such playing over it won't work in TI nor in any other mods which come with CnCNet v2.

To fix the problem, you'll have to either:

1. download the Understorm TS/RA2 UDP Patch from http://www.understorm.net/downloads and replace the wsock32.dll in your TI folder with that version (assuming you have a real LAN).

or

2. Manually update your TI installation to CnCNet 3.1 (basically download the latest version of CnCNet to the TI directory and run cncnet.exe), pretty much the only reliable choice if you don't have a real LAN set up.
