Stupidity and Exotic Animals
Subject description: and why Exotic Wild Animals shouldn't be kept as 'pets' or in 'private zoos'
Okay...so if you don't feel like reading the article here it is put simply
-Guy in Zanesville owns a 'private zoo'
-facing problems he decides fukitol
-opens the gates and cages and offs himself (or so is believed)
-56 exotic animals ran out into the area
-people fear exotic wild animals, cops are zoo teams are sent out, schools get closed in fear
-lots of exotic animals died because tranquilizing while it's dark is hard and makes the animals hide and thus you can't be sure if it knocked them out or not
-people get upset about 18 bengal tigers getting killed during it.
So....why the ztype do people have to get exotic animals and pretend the animals are 'pets' or in this case decide that they have a 'private zoo' ?
it's stupid...and then to think that other people are all upset because 18 bengal tigers were killed due to this, just makes me wanna slap a bitch.
even worse is the only reason they're probably upset about those tigers is because of the sports team The Cincinnati Bengals. /facepalm

The fuck? These animals weren't taken care of properly, they have no idea where to go to and they have no way of defending themselves (note that Ohio ain't their natural habitat). Due to them being dangerous animals, authorities were forced to put them down. Plus, these are endangered animals. I'd be just as upset as those people too. Mind you, I love my pet cats.

yes it isn't their natural habitat. but that doesn't take away their massive body size compared to a little kid that's going to school, it doesnt take away their claws or their powerful jaws that can rip and gnaw an unsuspecting person to death. Or, back to the body size, cause a huge interstate pile up causing many human deaths, injuries, and the death of said animal. not to mention damage done to cars and the road and potentially other areas of nature next to the interstate.

exactly they were forced to put them down. which is my point towards the people bitching about 'how they slaughtered these poor animals' tranquilizing wasn't going to work. they tried it on one of them it caused it to go crazy and the fact it was night makes it hard to tranquilize something and then know that it's out.
Yes they are endangered and it's a shame they had to be shot. But human lives come first then the animals and due to the first tranquilizing attempt they didn't want to risk it.
normal cats =/= a wild exotic animal. I'm sure you'd love a Lion too...until it bites your head off.

again...what teamblack said. but it's not because of the sympathy for the animals. it's for the stupidity of the people who fail to realize it had to go down like that unless they wanted to hear about human life being lost and then getting more upset.

People in the US and actually other places too, love their sports teams a little too much. They'll buy checks that has their sports teams logo/colors slathered all over it, they'll buy...anything that has their sports teams shit on it. So with that...when they hear that Bengal tigers were killed and their favorite sports team is The Cincinnati Bengals, which obviously the Bengals part comes the the Bengal tiger, they get upset but most likely not for any other reason than that small connection to their sports team. They'll act like they give a damn for a day or two and deny that's the only reason. but fact is, it is the only damn reason.
