Well I should be working on the Americans but my attention wavered & was drawn away to the dark depths of experimental German armour! (I blame WoT personally XP)

Even this outfit makes me definite to keep that voxel within my mod. Nice robust looks afterall.

Looks great, especially with the 75mm L/58 Konisch gun. Any chance of seeing Grossturm mit 88mm L/56?

Absolutely hideous. Which in this case is good, because it's all Porsche could make in regards to tanks.

Turret doesn't seem round enough on the front, but other than that, clearly better than mine. #Tongue

Pz4 mit Schmalturm and 75mm L/70. DO IT.

The VK3601 with the Grossturm & 88mm is like a lot of things in WoT fictional so I'm not going to make it...

I'm starting to get a bit pissed off with all the fake stuff they have in WoT. I Guess it's for gameplay sake but some just make the tanks OTT IMO, Kv with 107mm etc!

I was looking at the title and thought i would see some fake tanks. Like those made out of paper which Rommel used in Africa to hide the true tank numbers and to fool the allies.

None the less some excellent looking voxels. I just wonder if there will be anyone using all of them once the mod is released. I mean each side has 20 or more different vehicles with nearly the same purpose.

Not fake, actually. Obscure, yes
VK3601 Grossturm is actually the Tiger Ausf H2 turret. [which was a ztyping abortion of tank design]

Well that's new to me, I've only ever read about the 107mm being used on the Kv-3 & 5.

The VK3601(H)'s Grossturm is based on the Tiger H2 turret but the VK3601(H) never had or planed to use such a turret. There was no alternative turret design for the VK3601(H) to use as an upgrade so they logically borrowed one from a similar tank i.e. the Tiger. They did the same for the VK3001(H) too, which uses a fictional early Schmalturm. I know why they did it but now thousands of ppl are now thinking it was a real design because it's in WoT, which bugs the hell out of me!

@LKO: There are lots of different game modes using different sets of units, there are only a few modes where you can build all of them tho.

Thousands? Most people I know who play WoT will sooner dismiss the obscure as "made-up" before attributing it to reality- German stuff because the Germans couldn't possibly make such UP designs, Soviet stuff because we all know Russian devs = russian bias and US stuff because all they made was shitty shermans

Well in all honesty, I don't recall the VK3601 getting a turret, period- schematics and test photos I've seen show either no turret or a concrete weight simulating a turret.

WG say 70,000 ppl play WoT so if only 1 in 35...

Several turrets where made for the VK3601(H) but they where never fitted, after it was cancelled there where plans to use then on bunkers along the Atlantic wall but they didn't get round to that either.

You can see one of the incomplete VK3601(H) turrets in the background.

What I was saying is that of the ~70k on the EU server, 20k on US server and 200k on the RU server, most would sooner claim these things to be made-up before assuming they are real.

Turret looks interesting, though it looks like it would overlap the narrower chassis of the 3601 a little too much. I'd wager it was made when the wider hull of the Tiger was designed.

Amusing how they have the castings of Jagdtiger gun mantlets just sitting on the shop floor like that...
