I can't start Nod Mission 6. A window pops up telling me it can't load the map select screen and then starts up Nod Mission 1 all over again.

On a sidenote, this isn't a bug so much as a suggestion: Is there a way to get TS to run in 32 bit pixel depth, not necessarily improve the looks, but just let it run at a larger depth? I found out how to do windowed mode and have to change my monitor settings to 16 bit every time I start it up.

For those interested, add -win to the command line in a shortcut, but you'll need to be set to 16 bit in your resolution/graphics settings window.

I checked the changelog, looks like it's in there, just not working. I'll open up the mix file on my install and make sure, though.

Looks like 6 and 7 are in there, that or 6 and/or 7's a place holder.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Nod Missions 6 and 7 are not placeholders, they are complete but there appears to be some form of error preventing them from launching properly, even though the coding is correct... I'll look into it after work tonight.

Looks like I may have to release a patch a lot sooner than I anticipated.

It was all coded correctly, however, I have fixed it. The problem lay within mapsel.ini. Add this to your TI Directory to fix the problem.

Just drop it in the TI folder or put it into one of the compressed files? I did the former and it didn't seem to work.

And again I forgot to save near the end of the mission. Oh well, it's a particularly fun one.

Perhaps you gotta play the whole mission again.

Drop it in your directory.
From what I've tested, you can't extract any mission you like, play it, complete it and expect to be launched onto the following mission, you have to start the campaign from scratch if you want the missions to correctly follow up one after the other. I don't know why this happens, but Tiberian Sun has always gave a scenario error if you play say, GDI Mission 2 rather than GDI Mission 1 if you've extracted and renamed.

I've played a mission (in my mod), then changed it and restarted the mission and the changes were there. I've done this lots of times... does it have anything to do?

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I mean that if you extract say, Nod Mission 3, rename it to Nod1a.map so it's the first map that appears when you run the Nod campaign and then complete it, you will still get a Scenario error when going onto Nod Mission 4. This happens with any missions other than mission 1 in TI and it was the same in TS.

I'm still not too sure I follow, I haven't changed anything other than dropping the above .ini into my TI folder.

Well what are you doing? Loading an old Save-game file? If so, then that will be problematic.

Ah, that's probably the case then. Would it function properly if I loaded the previous mission, finished it, and then began the mission 5 anew?

That should be fine, but I'm not 100% sure as I have changed Mapsel.ini to acknowledge all campaign maps.
