- Get rid of the sparkly green things...you don't need it. Plus the green line things on the side.

- Change the font used for "venomrage." I know, in photoshop, you can do so much more with that.

Just curious, Cranium's Building SHPs has a good textures but why when it comes in making logos, your talent seems to get disturbed?

There are portables too which i usually use, BTW! Since I'm still working on concept designs for my mod, I've decided to make the Venom Rage logo for you Cranium!

Done! Tell me what you think about it, I can change it if you want to!

I also made a subtitle marking, tell me what should i put there or delete it.

Don't forget to credit me if used officially!
(Almost took me an hour deciding on the vector styles)

Minimalism is always easier to do right. Keep the number of effects and elements to the bare minimum, to keep any one of them from crowding out the others.

A logo must work in its most basic form, single colour and as Orac said, the minimal amount of effects should he considered.

Yeah, simplicity makes wonders, this is why I have this (I asked the font to be made by a photoshopper but the rest is my sketch)

Tho that three blinks are interesting idea, they are just too big and they should be less saturated to blend in nicely.

@gamefreak, thanks for the attempt, but I'm gonna stick with the Original RA2/YR style.

@lefthand, which font should I use, This is currently Chisel Wide. Thats what RA2 uses isnt it?

I think Red Alert logo font is from Futura font family or something very similar at least. Hyper probably knows for sure, though.

Futura family is indeed the C&C typeface, I think it was at 175% width too in the RA logos.

I meant that its part of the Futura family. That font is Futura Black or something, use common sense to find out #Tongue

I have like 12 different futura fonts, but none seem to look anything like this font. Some look close, but dont have the 3d'ish bevel look to it. Or do I have to add the 3d'ish bevel look myself?

When does any font have any kind of bevel effect? You'll need to add it yourself and as Hyper said earlier the text may well need to be stretched length ways.

IIRC a Chisel font is used for the Tiberian Sun logo.

yeah, I was pushing more towards the extention type stuff, but This is what I have now. Though the texture on the text is due to change.
I also thought about making the bottom middle of the "M" letter come to a point like a hyperdermic needle and apply some type of rain drop effect to mimic venom coming out, but I dont know. I'll try it and see what it looks like.

It feels noisy. The insides have too much going on, and the larger letters look out of place.
