yeah, thats been an issue for me too. But only occurs with large shp's with long shadows "all my high rise buildings do this". There's nothing you can do about it except shorten your shadows a bit.

Hah! The Trade Federation Command Center? Laughing

You could clip off some bit of the tower though. Theres just enough space there for it to pass as being cropped out.

Use compression 1 when saving the SHP file.

What are the other compressions good for, anyway? Mouse.shp requires compression 1, now it seems like buildings need too in order to display their shadow properly...

I've never even seen Compression 2 being used despite the fact that there's 'Compression 1' which is actually no compression at all being used, and Compression 3 in SHP builder. Technically Compression 3 would be the best option for file size since it drastically reduces the file size of some SHP's, especially if single color is being repeated a lot in succession (like background usually is).

The glitch displayed in above screenshot has to do with the size of SHP and WW's stupid form of RLE compression for SHP's, which starts to screw things up when the proportions of the SHP image goes beyond 255 pixels. Does not happen always, though. Banshee can probably give more in-depth explanation if required, I've kind of forgotten the tiny details already by now.

Use the new saving method in shp builder thats the lowest option which saves building frames in compress 3 and shadows in compress 1, saving actual building frames in compress1 results in buildings being drivable over...

If I recall correctly the buildings in Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds are insanely huge. You need to downsize them a bit as well and I think this one was a direct conversion without resizing though. For practicality the Command Centers could do as 3x3 though. At most you'd be using them as 4x4 or 5x5 when unshrinked.

@Bansheee, I'm pretty sure i saved mine in all 3 save types and still had that glitch. But I'll try it again just to make sure.

The layer ordering gets messed up so things that are "behind" the building sometimes get drawn on top of it instead.
