Nah, it's the freedom of the artist. It's his mod with his style and I totally agree that with his logos, the beloved TS typeface doesn't fit.
Besides... as far as I seen, TI doesn't use that typeface neither, so look, who's talking?

Most of what you said is not to the point here, he we using a typeface that was very poorly recreated and I was linking, and in the end uploaded a PNG for him to use that was 100% true to the original shape of the Tiberian Sun logo.
In regards to the TI logo, what is seriously off topic. When I designe the TI logo the intension was to move into something new that matched the feel of the project.
Well personally it all looks too colourful and chunky with far too much use of bevel and drop shadow. The background is also rather confusing with the world map overlaying a different view of a planet. Also perhaps keep it symmetrical by only having GDI and Nod logos at the top or bottom? QUICK_EDIT

Hyper, Aro, he revitalized the GDI and the Nod logo. Why cant he do that with the font? He even mentioned he doesn't like the font, yet you two forced him to do it.

Not at all, and by using the shitty remake typeface, one would assume that is the path he was going down. I could not care less what he chooses, but if he was going to go down that route, then i was providing assets that would help him. QUICK_EDIT

I brought up TI because TI has it's own style and due to it, it chose a totally new logo and a new font.
We know that Stealth Killer has a CYAN sidebar for GDI. This is why I was desperately sure that he can afford himself to pick a font which suits him.
This isn't stupidity, the stupidity might comes from the fact that some disagrees even to the fact that they point out the TS typeface, even when he told he never aimed to RECREATE THE FONT.
Why I said who's talking because Aro could get this artistic freedom, while the same guy prevents a minor modder from it. If that makes me a smartass, then I am one.
But at least I read the topic.

His original aim was to remake the Tiberian Sun logo and place it on a new main menu design, that was not my aim. The font he used was a crap remake of the original font. Hyper offers to give him the original font and he went crazy and flamed Hyper's work. Tell me where the logic is in this and I will withdraw my comments. QUICK_EDIT

Crap, shitty, etc... those are subjective terms.
There is one thing I can agree with you that the font which so far fitted the most with his designs has a capitalization issue, (that he mixed small and capital letters) but except that thing, it was fitting more to his design than this TS font.
TBH, even that remake you sent to hell was interesting to see with being TS written in one line. Did you even tried to match it into the content or you just seen that it's not the same and nothing more?
You know, I even dared to thought that you consider that typeface sacred or something. And forcing an artist to follow a term (because you urged him to use the original font) can easily turn away the artist.

You don't even understand what is going on here, do you? He used the Tiberium font in the first post because he thought it was the same font that Westwood used for their logo, everyone agrees that the remake font (known as Tiberium) is garbage and there is no need to use it when the actual font (Chisel) is available to use, Hyper supplied it to him, he used it, Hyper gave constructive criticism by telling SK that he thinks the font used (Chisel this time around) is stretched too far. Next thing we know, Hyper's work gets insulted for no real reason. Yeah, this entire thread makes sense to me.
There is no argument here, you and Stealth Killer are just blowing it completely out of proportion because you don't even understand why myself, Hyper and others are pointing towards Chisel instead of Tiberium and Stealth Killer is calling a professional artists work crap when he is only trying to help.
If I was wrong, I'd admit I was wrong, but I won't say I am when I am not. Simple.
