Yes, there are already four types of resources in the game but the last two just use the same image as the first etc.

it's actually ore and gems, but yes. I use ore, gems, gold, and oil spills, that the miners suck up. Wink

The oil spill is mod exclusive so you may not use that idea. lol, jk. Razz

They are TIB2 and TIB3 at the Overlays list, and Vinifera and Aboreus on the Tiberiums list.

Beware tho, some of the WW mappers used Vinifera as ore on their maps (tip of my head example Defcon 6 or Path Beyond 2) so I'd suggest you to use Aboreus and TIB3 first.

This is true.

Also if you utilize the commonly used trick to implement ore-generating structure via VoxelAnims, keep in mind that VoxelAnims (i.e voxel debris animations) that spawn tiberium/ore are hardcoded to spawn Vinifera-type ore.

Art debris can spawn any type of ore/tib BTW so you can get round that problem.

Graion Dilach that information cant be correct.
I recolored tib03.sno/des/tem/urb/ubn and played some original maps. The recolored resource was visible, so it is not "unused". I also changed Aboreus:Values to 0 but I still get money when docking.

What you ran into, is that by default, be the target Vinifera or Aboreus, both are Imaged.

You can't. Not without changing the graphics used for it and those pips are displayed for Riparius & Vinifera type as well.

Just thought I'd also point out westwood used TIB2_01-20 Vinifera on Campaign maps as well, not just offical multiplayer skirmish maps, so I suggest only changing TIB01 -20, TIB3_01-20, and Gems. Leaving you with 3 valid types, while TIB2 shares TIB images.
