Ok I want to basically flip air craft carriers launch system. I have an air ship and I want it to come down and out. Then when it’s done or needs to reload I want it to go up then in. you know what im saying? I have seen it before. It was with a UFO on a moon mod map. The took the Yuri disk and made it so it lunched 3 mini disk's. But anyways if you just use the a.c. rules for that they come off the ground then attack then back down to the ground how do I reverse it?

I think he wants to launch the unit from underneath another unit instead of launching it of the top of the unit like the aircraft carriers.

Do you still have the moon mod map?

i wish i did still have it. and yes i want to lanch it under the unit like the starcraft unit (that carrier thing). i want it to work like that.

Check the Kirov Airship and the BlimpBomb? You may find what you are looking for there. I'm a little busy at the moment with the terrain and civilian exp to find it.

I cloned the Kirov once and gave it the Aircraft Carrier's weapon and spawning stuff, but when the planes spawned, they looked like they were coming up from the ground below the Kirov.

...it may be hardcoded... try the firing angle and the primaryflh's

i have tryed fire angle but i havent tryed primaryflh's but i dont think that will change anything. anyways if it is hardcoded how would i do it? like were should i look because i havent tryed to do any hardcoded stuff and i would like to learn how.

hardcoded= data built in to the program itself that is not changeable unless you have the source code.

tbe source code is the algorithim of responsible for the whole engine of the program. When this algorithim is compiled, the compiler (program that does the compiling procedures) translate the ammount of code (which is pure text that can be opened in wordpad or better programs) into machine code and generates (in RA2's case) the game.exe and ra2.exe. Once it generates game.exe and ra2.exe, you can't retrieve it back and change it. If we were able to change it, we could add everything we wished in RA2 like new sides, new superweapons, new everything. But this is exclusive property of Westwood Studios (currently Eletronic Arts Los Angeles).

No, people cant change the game itself... the best you can do is to modify one of the hardcoded messages with an hex editor or replace the icon of the exe file and few minor details with Resource Hacker... But no one managed to edit the engine itself in a positive way...

the problem is getting it to recompile after you decompile it and make changes in assembly.
