i'm thinking of modding TS again i've got a new comp now so i slammed in TFD installed TS and ran it only to find a tiny 640x480 window in the middle with massive black lines around it after that i try to use the menu but when i click on any menu button i get a long grey bar through the middle of the tiny window (like it doesn't open the menus properly)

I Have Tryed...
ddraw - screen goes black

changing resolution in the sun.ini - just makes things worse and still have a tiny window in the centre of the screen

all compaterbility modes and running as admin - no effect

mess about with my graphic propertys - no effect

tryed differnt versions and downloads of TS - still the same

Maybe My Specs Will Help...
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Screen Resolution of 1366x768
Intel i5-2410m 2.30Ghz (Up To 2.90Ghz) Duel Core Proccesor
Intel i5-2410m Intel HD-3000 Intergrated Graphics
640GB Hard Disk (390GB Remaining)
4GB RAM
(plenty of useful info for you there probebly pointless but still)

i hope someone can help me thx in advanced

Kill off Intel HD Graphics.

You can't have better than what you have now with that.

Use Mouse's fix. It works better. Machine's fix has one bug (just one for the moment cause I haven't stumbled onto any other bug yet with it).
It messes with other games, for example SWTFU2. Not sure about other games tho.
Haven't installed much game on my new laptop. You won't get any cursor when you launch SWTFU2.

That's normal for TS. The menus and the background were made for a resolution of 640x400 and whenever you use a higher resolution than that, the menus and the background remain the same.

One thing you could do is adding AllowModeToggle=yes in SUN.INI under [Video], which will make TS display the main menu in 640x480 and switch to your actual resolution whenever you start a game.
This should work fine for most systems, but if you find your system suddenly freezing when you start or end a game, you're best off disabling this setting again.

What was it that didn't work? Did you try Mouse's fix?
