My mod has not been officially released. But it is a planned public release in the future.
My MOD's working title is Sanzon Kaisen or "Survival Battle".

While the mod is doing well and has made a lot of progress in the last 2 years i recently decided to try and make original campaigns harder. In this regard the modification was small, and the changes from original are relatively slim, I'm looking for small mistakes "AKA allies have something there not supposed to have in level X", feedback on difficulty, and other suggestions.

The mod is available for download here, and is provided with access to only the 38 campaign missions at the moment, which can be played via progression or by level select.

The mod uses Ares with the current latest Fatman. I ask anyone good with the original missions or just a little nostalgic to try and play and tell me what you think of the difficulty increase, and report back here please or skype or pm me, thank you.

Difficulty was increased by utilizing the weakening of human controlled forces and economy. "nothing has officially been added to maps to increase difficulty, but suggestions of that nature will be considered." "Things like urban combat, prism tower fixes, and infinite cash on the moon have been fixed already."

The original mission map movies work but are not included with the download as they take an additional 600mb, if someone request i will upload the mix file with movies separately.

If you would like to try beta testing the regular mod and not campaigns, please pm me for details.

The mod contains enhancements changes to original sides, and also adds 3 whole new sides.

Again I would like to thank anyone who takes the time to test and play any of the campaign maps and report back here. Thank you!

Several People have downloaded my Campaign tester Thank You. One person has gotten back to me about it. I thank anyone else who has not responded for trying it, and if you could let me know if you found any problems, that would be a great help.

I'm aware of the 2nd Original soviet mission being impossible due to allied pillboxes killing the amphibious craft before reaching shore, "and thus never receive battlefield control.."

This has been fixed.

I've decided to change difficulty to make it a little easier, but still make it more challenging then the original game. If people tell me some missions are still to easy, then I will opt to make those missions harder on a per mission basis.

Do to Ares 0.2's recent release, it will be used in my latest Download for testing. Also I've decided to let Skirmish mode be available for anyone to try. My mod is still in early stages of Beta so some stuff might be very "ugly or just not there, as in the case for the AI for my new sides." Otherwise it offers a lot of fun play for those who would like to try. I don't think its too shabby for a 1 man team, though style of play is different in a lot of ways."

My Mod adds 3 new playable sides, tougher "cheating" AI, many Ares features, all the original and yuri campaigns slightly harder then in umodded game with level select, many new battle modes, plays differently, and other neat things. It sorta has a survival theme to it some people like. Be very careful of enemy spies, my AI love to use them.

Noted problems with Beta Mod:
Lack of new voices for new units etc, Re-using cameo's until new ones can be made, some art is missing and/or has dummy art. Lack of AI intelligence for my new sides, "note they will not crash the game though if selected in skirmish and will not be chosen when using the random selection option".

While you could consider this a pre-beta release of my mod, I have just chosen to ask people for help with testing in PPM cause I feel I can trust the community for their support. This is still a private mod which I've chosen to publicly reveal. I plan for a later public beta release, but this is my PPM release for testing, or getting people interested in testing for my mod, if at all possible, or even just feedback.


If anyone who has tried my mod yet has taken a look at the modes, and wonder how they were done, check into MLEP. I'd help anyone setup MLEP for their mods if they asked.
