It's surely non-animated and only added to the building with the AlphaImage key.

I upload these.Ares is more suitable for alpha image tricks.But GZ can make the eye candy a real shield.

No, it isn't good idea unless you want use it as marker. here a stealthed base, attack here!!!

as it as alpha won't be hidden so face palm worthy idea there.

Two things.

1. AlphaLight =/= Animation. Only way to animate AlphaLight is through usage of particles, a solution which requires you to create new particle for each frame, and is generally far from optimal.
2. Animation transparency in RA2/YR does not always cause noticeable lag, especially in limited applications. Aforementioned stealth generator, when cloaking buildings, is far more significant cause of lag than animation transparency.

Oh, and as said above by Apollo, attaching an AlphaLight (which would be visible to EVERYONE) to stealth generator would remove any point of such structure.

Well not necessarily, it's like the TW cloak gen tower thing. The point would be to hide what's in the base but not the base location which may be fairer anyway.

This doesn't look like a bad effect. With some recoloring, it could pass for an Empire Nanoswarm Shield for example.

I thought such huge animation with transparency will cause lag so made it alpha image.I think it will be hard to recolor

you could make it to a new normal animation for the stealth generator, that way, you could use it for the building animation, i guess and adding new frames also.
