Running Red Alert 2 under high resolution is causing the videos not to be full-screen. In ra2.ini "StretchMovies=yes" has no effect.
With Yuri's Revenge there is no such issue.
Maybe someone could provide a patch so that the videos can be watched full-screen.

if you check under compatibility mode in windows, you can see an option at least in windows 7 to run in 640 by 480.

But if all you want to do is play the original campaigns and watch movies, some new mods running ares now have all the campaigns selectable with movies in yuri's revenge.

When it comes to modding etc, the majority of the community especially "patchers" have moved to yuri's revenge.

I want Red Alert 2 to behave like Yuri's Revenge so that the game temporarily switches to the video's original resolution when playing the videos and then switches to the chosen high resolution when gameplay starts.
At the moment, the videos of Red Alert 2 aren't shown full-screen when using high resolutions (for example 1280x960). So either the videos should be shown at their original resolution (the game should temporarily switch to that resolution like in Yuri's Revenge) or they should be stretched to the chosen high resolution in order to be full-screen.

AllowModeToggle=true under the [Video] section. Should work in RA2.

Aaahhh..., Mr. HyperPatch himself. What a honor... Smile
Unfortunately, this doesn't work in my case. I'm using the The First Decade version and getting this error:

Don't try to click the OK button. It won't work. Laughing
