The Aegis-class cruiser is truly the protector of the Allied fleet. It is the Allies' premier anti-air vessel which has proven itself during GWW2 to be a crucial piece of defence against the nigh invulnerable Kirov Airships used by the Soviets. The secret to it's efficiency with anti-air duties lies in it's deadly weapon: the "Medusa" Rapid Launcher Array. This weapon system can rapidly launch Medusa SAMs upon enemy aircrafts, quickly shooting them down in a blink of an eye. If ordered to, the weapon can be fired at an even faster rate. Recently, a new weapon has been installed on the cruisers to counter ballistic missiles. The new "Bodyguard" Close-In Weapon System was made in response to the Soviets allegedly using their Cyclone SRBMs as makeshift anti-ship weapons; a lone Dreadnought successfully sank two Destroyers and crippled an Aircraft Carrier which were docked at Pearl Harbour. The Dreadnought was later ambushed by an Imperial submersible squadron somewhere out in the Pacific...

I suppose you're going to fix the projectile so it actually ascends vertically before turning towards the target.
